Identifying Your Export Markets
The primary reason why products fail in global markets is POOR QUALITY. Therefore, it is important that you answer the following question candidly:

"What quality problems do your products have NOW"? Can you correct them BEFORE you start selling them overseas?

If you think that your products have deficiencies that could cause serious problems later in foreign markets, take immediate steps to correct them. Determine how, when and by whom corrections will be made. Establish deadline dates and a follow-up system to ensure that each deficiency has been corrected to your complete satisfaction.

Doesn't it make more sense to correct all quality problems BEFORE your products leave your facilities - rather than waiting until they are in the hands of customers thousands of miles away? Sending technicians and engineers around the world can be very expensive and disruptive to your company's operations!

QUESTION:

What will happen to your company's reputation in the local marketplace when word gets out that your products need repair soon after they have been purchased? When your local competitors hear about it, they will broadcast it as loudly as they possibly can! Wouldn't you?

NEVER absolutely NEVER sacrifice
product quality for short-term profits!
